The characters are so well drawn I find myself getting involved in their lives. I couldn't put it down. Now imagine the most notable qualities of all three and you have Forrest's Erin Bond character who proves to be the perfect combination of intelligence, self-reliance, selflessness, bravery, grit, resilience, and determination.
